I had the great honor to illustrate the book "A vez da Vovó" from Editora Matrescência, an amazing Brazilian publisher, that I was a huge fan even before becoming an illustrator.
I am very grateful to have been part of this project, because it is an important subject treated in a really kind way be the talented Gabriela Campanella.
Eu tive a grande honra de ilustrar o livro "A vez da Vovó" da Editora Matrescência, a qual eu já era fã antes mesmo de me tornar ilustradora.
Eu sou muito grata por ter feito parte desse projeto, por ser um tema muito importante tratado de forma bem sutil e delicada pela super talentosa Gabriela Campanella.

The author sent me a lot of photos to use as reference, specially of her grandma's house, and important objects that she had affective memory. This was great for my process and made me feel even more connected with this project.
A autora me enviou muitas fotos como referência para o projeto, principalmente da casa da sua avó e de objetos que traziam memórias afetivas. Isso foi muito importante para o meu processo de criação e me senti muito conectada ao texto depois disso.
